🧪 Mechanism of Action

• Menthol activates cold-sensitive receptors on the skin and respiratory mucosa, creating a cooling and mildly anesthetic effect.

• Eucalyptus oil, primarily containing eucalyptol (1,8-cineole), helps reduce inflammation, loosen mucus, and has some antibacterial activity

🧴 Dosage & Administration

• For adults, elderly, and children over 3 months:

  • Shake well before use.

  • Add 5 ml of Nasovap to 500–600 ml of hot (not boiling) water.

  • Inhale the steam through both mouth and nose.

  • Repeat as needed every 4 hours.

  • Use is strictly for external inhalation only—do not ingest

⚠️ Contraindications & Safety

• Not suitable for children under 3 months of age.

• Avoid use in individuals with known allergy or hypersensitivity to menthol, eucalyptus oil, or any ingredients.

• Caution in patients with asthma, since the formulation contains 1.25 mg benzalkonium chloride per 5 ml (0.025% w/v), which may trigger bronchospasm
