PREDEX Injection

(Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate BP-7.5 mg & Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate BP-2.5 mg)

Predex injection is the combination of two potent and highly effective Gluco-corticoids, i.e. Prednisolone and Dexamethasone. Prednisolone which acts as Promptly but only for a short period and Dexamethasone, whose potent effect does not begin for a few hours but persists for several days. Predex is a unique and potent glucocor- ticoid formulation to promote gluconeogenesis and to reduce inflammation, allergic reaction or manifestation.

Composition:

Each ml contains:

Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate BP.

7.5 mg

Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate BP

2.5 mg

Indication:

Predex indicated for the following diseases:

Laminitis, Arthritis, Bursitis, Ketosis, Milk fever, Grass tetany, Eczema, Dermatitis, Mastitis, Different Shocks, Parturient Paresis, Indigestion, Hepatic Dystrophy associated with pregnancy.

Dosage and Administration:

Cattle & Buffaloes: 4-8 ml/animal-Intravenous/Intramuscularly.

Horses : 6-10 ml/animal-Intravenous/Intramuscularly.

Sheep & Goats: 5-10 ml/animal-Intramuscularly.

Cats & Dogs : 0.1-0.6 ml/animal- Intramuscularly.

Follow up treatment after 3-5 days depending on the severity of the case and the size of the initial dose.

Contraindication: Not given in pregnant animal & Gastric Ulcer.

Withdrawal Period: Meat-6 days, Milk-6days.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place protected from light. Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
