Levomax Vet Oral Solution 20ml

DESCRIPTION
LevoMax® Vet solution belongs to 3rd generation fluoroquinolone with
broad spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria and mycoplasma.

COMPOSITION
Each mL of LevoMax® Vet contains
Levofloxacin Hemihydrate USP equivalent to Levofloxacin 100 mg.

MODE OF ACTION
LevoMax® Vet solution is bactericidal drug, actively killing bacteria by
inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase or the topoisomerase IV enzyme,
thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.

INDICATIONS
LevoMax® Vet is indicated for the treatment and prevention of
diseases caused by both gram positive and gram negative bacteria and
mycoplasma in following infections:
• Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Infectious Coryza, Fowl Cholera etc.
• Mycoplasmosis, CRD, CCRD
• Secondary bacterial infections of viral diseases

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Poultry:1 mL / 1-2 Liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Pigeon and Pet Bird: 1-2 mL / Liter (0.2-0.4 mL / kg body weight) water
for 3-5 days.
Or, as per directions of registered Veterinarian / Consultant.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Levofloxacin is not recommended for use in combination with
chloramphenicol, macrolides or tetracycline.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 7 days, Egg: 7 days.

STORAGE
Keep away from light & wet place. Store at or below 30 °C temperature.
Keep out of the reach of children.

PRESENTATION
LevoMax® Vet 20 mL Solution: Each carton contains one bottle of
20 mL LevoMax® Vet solution. Each mL contains Levofloxacin
Hemihydrate USP equivalent to Levofloxacin 100 mg.
LevoMax® Vet 100 mL Solution: Each carton contains one bottle of
100 mL LevoMax® Vet solution. Each mL contains Levofloxacin
Hemihydrate USP equivalent to Levofloxacin 100 mg.
LevoMax® Vet 500 mL Solution: One bottle of 500 mL LevoMax®
Vet solution. Each mL contains Levofloxacin Hemihydrate USP
equivalent to Levofloxacin 100 mg.
