Laxotab

Laxotab is a stimulant laxative used to relieve constipation and prepare the bowel before medical procedures. Its active ingredient, sodium picosulfate, works by stimulating the intestinal muscles, increasing bowel movement, and softening stool.

Dosage:

• Adults & Children over 10 years: 5-10 mg at night
• Children 4-10 years: 2.5-5 mg at night
• Children under 4 years: 0.25 ml per kg body weight at night

Side Effects:

• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Dizziness
• Electrolyte imbalance with prolonged use

Precautions:

• Avoid prolonged use to prevent dependence
• Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Not recommended for individuals with bowel obstruction or severe dehydration

Keep in a cool, dry place below 30°C and away from children.
