Consuming alcohol with Ceftron 500 IV does not cause any harmful side effects.

Ceftron 500 IV is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.

Ceftron 500 IV should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Ceftron 500 IV may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Ceftron 500 IV is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Ceftron 500 IV is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

Ceftron 500 IV should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ceftron 500 IV may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Dose adjustment of Ceftron 500 IV is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
