What is a hematology reagent with a barcode?
Currently, three-part models neednโt scan the barcode in common, and it can be used directly by connecting the reagent bottle. Currently, instrument manufacturers know the importance of consumables, so the long-term trend is to make a closed reagent system by scanning barcodes to change new reagents.
However, the end customers will not willing to be utterly close considering of cost and benefits so there are closed systems and open systems in the market.
