Maxrin 0.4 may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Maxrin 0.4 is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Maxrin 0.4 is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Maxrin 0.4 does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Maxrin 0.4 is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Maxrin 0.4 is recommended. However, limited information is available on the use of Maxrin 0.4 in patients with end stage kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Maxrin 0.4 should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Maxrin 0.4 may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
